Playground Productions, LLC, is a full-service, independent production company focused on creating projects of the highest quality with exceedingly professional results. We aspire to tell stories of significance that inspire, provoke emotion and reflection, incite action and have long-lasting effects on those who experience them.

As Sole Partner of Playground Productions, LLC, Kendra McLaughlin knows how to facilitate a creative vision and give a unique, visual identity to her work. She is well organized, flexible, and has a good overview of the production process. She can translate a concept into reality while still being aware of the constraints of the product’s budget and schedule. She is the crucial link between the technical and creative teams, motivating the team to produce the best possible results. She possesses creative vision, dedication and commitment and sees a project through to completion.

With an undergraduate degree in Communications and a graduate degree in Existential Phenomenology, both from Duquesne University, Kendra worked in media for over 18 years before becoming a child therapist.  In the last ten years, she has acted in close to 25 amateur, semi-professional and professional theater productions and 10 major motion pictures and TV pilots as well as wrote, produced and starred in her own one woman show. Her background in Phenomenology gifts her with the ability to discover authentic moments within conversation, moments of human truth. This heightened sensitivity will enhance her creative vision for your project.
