Acting

Acting is part of creative pulse, being part of a story

I was born with a questioning mind.

When I was a kid, I used to climb to the top of my swing set and peer out over our hedges just to say say “hi” because I was curious about the people getting off the bus each day. I loved the thrill of the climb and the gift of being in the moment with another person.

I am passionate about life and express it in a number of ways. I have jumped out of a plane, gone hang gliding over the Great Barrier Reef, went white water rafting down the Rio Grande and traveled extensively, because I felt truly alive and in the moment when I was discovering the world.
As I discover, I ask myself this question as an artist: what does it mean to be human? I am moved to create artistic stories that describe “truth”. By showing how a particular person experiences their world, we can reflect on the meaning and complexity of the human condition and come to a place of wisdom and understanding.

As far as I’m concerned, “Climbing to the top of the swing set” in whatever you do really can make a difference in the world!

Here are some examples of ways that I have climbed to the top of the swingset!
